PEUGEOT PARKING AND DRIVING AIDS
HILL START ASSIST
Thanks to Hill Assist technology, your starts and maneuvers on a slope are made easier.
When you are on a slope (> 3%), the Hill Assist function keeps your vehicle stationary for a short time (approximately two seconds), giving you time to switch from the brake pedal to the accelerator pedal.
REVERSING CAMERA
The reversing camera uses the central screen and makes day-to-day parking maneuvers easier. It is a driving assistance system which visualizes the size of the vehicle and the trajectory using colored lines, which makes maneuvers easier and safer.
HANDS-FREE ENTRY AND STARTING & HANDS-FREE TAILGATE
HANDS-FREE ACCESS AND START
Hands-Free Access and Starting is a system for unlocking, locking and starting the vehicle while keeping the electronic key on your person.
HANDS-FREE TAILGATE
The hands-free tailgate allows the opening or closing of the motorized tailgate. To operate the tailgate, several options are available:
- by the HFAS electronic key (Hands-Free Access and Starting)
- by the exterior or interior control on the tailgate
- by the control on the dashboard
- via the ""loaded arms"" access under the rear bumper
The ""Access with full arms"" function allows a simple movement of the foot under the rear bumper to open or close the vehicle's motorized tailgate.
VISIOPARK 1 & 2
The vehicle is fitted with a 180° video camera on the tailgate (Visiopark 1) and in the grille (Visiopark 2). This system allows you to view the surroundings close to your vehicle on the touch screen using cameras. The parking assistance sensors supplement the information on the view from above of the vehicle. An image of the top of the vehicle in its immediate environment is reconstructed in real time as the maneuver progresses, allowing a 360° view.
This representation makes it easier to align your vehicle when parking and to view all the obstacles nearby.

PARK ASSIST
Using side ultrasonic sensors, this system provides active parking assistance:
- it detects a parking space according to the size of the vehicle, thanks to the sensors located on the front and rear bumpers
- then he controls the steering system to park in this space
. The driver manages acceleration, braking, gear ratios and the clutch (manual gearbox). During the parking entry and exit phases, the system provides visual and audible information to the driver in order to make his maneuvers safer. At any time, the driver can regain control of the steering by grabbing the steering wheel.
Park Assist provides assistance for parallel parking maneuvers (entry or exit) or parallel parking maneuvers.
AUTOMATIC HIGH BEAM SWITCHING
The vehicle is fitted with a camera located at the top of the windscreen to analyze light sources. This system automatically switches between high beam and low beam depending on lighting and traffic conditions. It thus makes it possible to optimize driving time with high beams, for greater safety.
RECOGNITION OF SPEED SIGNS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
The camera located at the top of the windscreen detects and reads speed limit and end of speed limit signs, and displays them in the instrument panel. The system also takes into account speed limit information from the navigation system map. Specific speed limits, such as those for heavy goods vehicles, are not displayed.
The speed limit recommendation completes the system: the driver can choose to adapt the vehicle's set speed with the speed limit read by the camera.
